Vintage Fender Leo DELUXE 5 string Banjo
This is a gorgeous and all original Japanese made Fender Leo Deluxe.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description
The Banjos from 1970's Japan are exceptional,  Truly top quality instruments and this was top of the line for Fender Japan in the 1970's.
This has a thick multiply Maple Shell.  The resonator and neck are GORGEOUS curly maple.  These originally had clear heads and even the maple on the inside of the resonator is gorgeous.  The fretboard is rosewood with some nice deluxe inlay.  This has all original chrome plated hardware including a 2 piece flange and a full size 20 hole tone ring.  This is all original and gorgeous plus it has the original case.

Condition
This is in fabulous condition and has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse.  The banjo has been disassembled and all of the chrome has been buffed to a glow.  The wood is clean and also has been waxed to a glow.  I can see a spot of fogging in the resonator which is common and effects nothing.  The fretboard is clean and oiled with frets that basically look new.  There are no spikes or 5th string capo and there never was.  This banjo was barely played and is a top quality example of a Vintage Japanese Deluxe Banjo.
Set Up
This has also been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a really cool Grover and the intonation is set.  The banjo plays great and is a true cannon.
