    This item measures about 3.25" round and 1.75" deep (not including ears design). All measurements are taken to the nearest 1/4" and may be slightly smaller or larger than stated.
    This item is hand carved from one piece of soapstone with a machete then wet-sanded smooth by the artists of Vaneal Self-Help Group in the Kisii region of Kenya. Once the carving is finished, the item is dyed and etched with the finishing accent patterns. By purchasing this piece, you are partnering with these artisans in Kenya to create employment opportunities..
    This item is intended for decorative use. While it is food-safe, getting it wet could damage the dye. This item would be ideal for holding change, jewelry or other small knick-knacks.
