Korg I-5M. Condition is "Used". The GM soundset is far superior to anything I've ever heard, and once you get into it the playback feature is not hard to do. The best thing about it is that it is so lightweight. I can lug it around without straining ANYTHING. I've heard lots of complaints from others with fullsize keyboards that they put their backs out. I'm not the type to want to do much editing of sounds and styles, so for me the lack of such features are well outbalanced by the portability. I have a Korg N364 as well, and really like the sounds on it for playing without sequencing. I probably use the i5m more, though, because I DON'T HAVE TO play. It does its own thing once you record a piece or pop in a midi tune. You definitely need a midi'ed keyboard to use as controller, though. Entering chords via the buttons on the unit itself is not userfriendly. If you know how to play chords that is far easier than learning a new skill such as pressing those buttons. The good thing is you don't absolutely have to bring the keyboard to gigs because you can preprogram everything. Of course using it with a computer is easier, you don't have to worry the onboard disk drive will some day give out to dirt and wear...Overall this piece (and I hope newer similar models with updated features, we ARE talking about a product with a few years behind it here) is probably a good buy for girls who are more interested in keeping their back straight than 'even daddy can use this' ease of use. It's probably good for guitarists (with midi'ed guitar) too, if they're not too into making their own styles. Remeber also that there is a list of Korg i-series users with access to style-making i-models, and they're usually willing to share.
