The banjo tone is generated by a custom Remo pre-tuned eight-inch banjo head that never needs re-tensioning, providing enhanced tuning stability. The contour-carved mahogany body and Canadian maple neck make for a nicely balanced instrument that won't be a burden after long sets.
    In addition to the smooth and perfect comfort of the neck, this banjo also shows off a radiused select wood fingerboard for all of the playing delight you could ask for. The stacked humbucking pickup is highly feedback-resistant and Gold Tone's heavy Terminator tailpiece accepts ball-end of loop-end strings.
