    This is an incredible Pre War One Piece Flange Style 3 conversion Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

    Description
    This is a Pre War TB3 that has been converted with a Huber HR30 Tone Ring and Frank Neat Neck and has all of the original metal other then the tone ring.  This is a powerful banjo that definitely is going to thrill some lucky banjo player out there.
    This has a mahogany neck and resonator and the resonator has the original finish.  The neck was made by Frank Neat and has a rosewood fretboard with a Flying Eagle inlay pattern.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.
    This has all original metal from the tenor except for the tone ring.  This includes a nickel plated one piece flange from 1932 with very little pull.  The armrest and tailpiece are also original.  The tuners on the headstock for the first 4 strings are original as well.
    This is truly a beast of a banjo.
    Condition
    This is a Pre War Banjo that has some age but this is a really clean and good looking banjo.  The original finish on the resonator looks fantastic.  The metal has aged with some pitting but it is still good looking metal with not that much age.  The flange does have some pull but it's not severe.  The neck is in great shape with a clean fretboard and clean frets.  There are spikes at the 7th-9th frets.  This is definitely in great shape and the case is clean inside and out.
    Set Up
    The banjo was assembled by Steve Huber but has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is also a new Huber bridge and is correctly intonated.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this banjo plays great with lots of tone and even more volume.  This is a for real deal Pre War style 3.
