    This is a powerful One Piece Flange style 4 conversion Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

    Description
    This is a well worn but original TB4 that has been converted with a Frank Neat neck and Huber HR30 Tone Ring.  This banjo definitely has the Pre War vibe along with tone and for a style 4 this is a great price.
    This has a walnut resonator with a curly maple neck and rosewood fretboard.  The neck is a speed neck which means all the finish has been taken off the back.  This allows for faster left hand speed.  The hardware is all original chrome which shows a good bit of age.  The flange is the original one piece flange and is showing some pull on the sides.  The tone ring is a Huber HR30 and this was assembled by Steve Huber as well.
    This is definitely a well played and well loved banjo that delivers a quality of tone that you have to get a Pre War Banjo to get!!
    Condition
    This is a Pre War Banjo that has been well played and does show some wear.  The metal has a lot of pitting and I mentioned the flange does have some pull on the side by the neck heel.  The resonator is in really good shape and the finish on that looks really good.  The neck is basically new so that is in fantastic shape with a clean fretboard and frets.  There are spikes at the 7th-10th frets.  This banjo is worn but is still in really good condition with normal age.  The case is clean.
    Set Up
    This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a new Huber bridge with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the banjo plays great.  More importantly it sounds incredible and is LOUD.  This is definitely the real deal and someone is going to get a cannon out of this banjo!!
